Useful shortcuts for Windows

Most of us know some keyboard shortcuts we use for everyday work. However, sometimes it is good to remember or even learn a new acronym, some of them can be significantly facilitate and accelerate the work on the computer.

Most of the commands in Windows can be found on the keyboard. In terms of time is too valuable to use some of the most common commands. If combined frequent use of these commands with the mouse, the work done much faster. They offer a list of abbreviations that should certainly know.


Windows key + D - Pressing this key combination minimizes all open windows and displays the desktop, printing turns a previous state.


Windows key + E - Opens Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) for faster access to disk files.



Windows key + F - Start the search mechanism.

Alt + Tab - Shift from one open program to another.

Windows key + Tab - Shift from one open program to another in flip mode (only works in Vista).

Alt + F4 - Close the active window or program that is currently open.
Ctrl + Esc - step selector Start

Ctrl + C - Copy selected content.

Ctrl + X - snapped selected content.

Ctrl + V - Paste (anglisht. paste) duplicate content or broken.
